TV EVO

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tap Node S.A.L ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses information when you use the TV EVO application and related services (the "Service").

1) Overview

We use limited information to operate the Service, improve performance and reliability, and improve the quality of ads shown in the app. We design our data practices to avoid collecting information that directly identifies you.

2) Local network and device control

To work as a remote, the app discovers and connects to TVs and streaming devices on your local network. Pairing details such as device name, model, platform, and local address are used to establish and maintain the connection and are stored on your device. Remote commands travel between your phone and your TV; we do not operate a server that relays your commands, and we do not use this information to identify you.

3) Voice, keyboard, and touchpad input

Voice search, on-screen keyboard text, and touchpad gestures are used only to send the corresponding command to your TV. Voice input is processed by your device's speech recognition and/or your TV platform's own voice service, according to their policies. We do not store recordings of your voice or the text you type.

4) Information we collect

a) De-identified usage and device data

App interactions, feature usage, approximate region (e.g., country), device type, operating system version, app version, language, diagnostics, crash logs, and performance metrics.

b) Advertising and measurement (non-personalized)

De-identified or aggregated signals used to measure advertising performance and improve ad quality (for example, to reduce irrelevant ads or detect fraud). This information is not intended to identify you as a person.

5) How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the Service, including device pairing and control.
  • Improve features, usability, compatibility, and reliability across TV brands.
  • Troubleshoot issues and prevent abuse or security incidents.
  • Understand which features are helpful and optimize the user experience.
  • Measure and improve ad quality and basic campaign effectiveness.

6) How we share information

We do not sell information intended to identify you.

  • Service providers (analytics, crash reporting, infrastructure) that help operate the Service.
  • Advertising and measurement partners, to support ad delivery and effectiveness measurement.

These parties are permitted to process information only for the purposes described and consistent with their roles.

7) Third-party services and APIs

Some functionality relies on third-party platforms, protocols, or APIs (for example TV manufacturer control interfaces, analytics, advertising, or infrastructure). These operate under their own terms and policies. While we choose providers carefully, we cannot control or be responsible for actions or interruptions outside of our reasonable control.

8) Data retention

We retain de-identified usage and measurement data only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Service, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. Paired-device settings remain on your device until you remove them or uninstall the app.

9) Your choices

  • Limit analytics, local network, microphone, or advertising permissions in your device settings.
  • Reset or restrict advertising identifiers (if applicable).
  • Remove paired devices in the app, or uninstall the app to stop further collection from that device.

10) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11) Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age where parental consent is required. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12) Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date and publish the latest version on this page.

13) Contact

For privacy questions, please contact us through the in-app support options where available.
